This addition and renovation of an older home required careful design sensitivities to capture the spectacular views of Georgian Bay and to transform what was originally a typical 70's bungalow.

Perched on a rock ridge the building flows down towards the shore at the back creating bedroom, living and storage space on the lower level.  The window placement allows for views through the home from one side to the other as well as a panoramic views of the Bay.  The breeze blows through and cools the residents on a hot summer day.
